Youth Science Connection is an online platform that allows high school students to complete science projects at home under the virtual guidance of a college mentor. Through the program high school students will come up with a project that they can do at home, write a scientific research proposal, and make a scientific poster. Youth Science Connection provides a way for high school students to engage with the scientific method at their own pace while also getting to speak to an undergraduate student who can give perspective on what it is like to be a STEM major. In addition, our program takes place entirely online so students can learn and receive mentoring while still engaging in social distancing.
